Todd Moore is the head of the Encryption Products portfolio at Thales Cloud Protection & Licensing, where he drives the strategy for the company’s industry-leading data encryption portfolio. Moore is a respected cybersecurity professional with more than 20 years of experience helping enterprises protect their most sensitive data and applications. He is a growth leader who routinely develops business cases and market analysis for new product investments, demonstrated capability to develop competitive strategies, and build teams from the ground up and negotiate strategic relationships and alliances.
Previously he was Senior Vice President for Encryption Products at Gemalto prior to its acquisition by Thales. Before that he was Vice President of Encryption products at SafeNet before its acquisition by Gemalto. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Product Management for the Federal Market at SafeNet where he focused on high-speed link encryption, high assurance authentication, cross domain solutions and cybersecurity. Before joining SafeNet, he was a director of product management at Harris Corporation.
Todd holds a Master’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer & Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s of Art in Physics & Mathematics from Ithaca College.
Tina Stewart leads the global marketing strategy and execution for Thales Cloud Protection & Licensing with responsibility for brand, communications, lead generation, digital marketing and field marketing in support of the company’s industry-leading data protection portfolio.
Previously she was Vice President of Market Strategy at Thales eSecurity. Tina was responsible for spearheading digital transformation projects within the organization, and leading global, high-performing teams in executing on business strategies and market programs. Prior to that, Tina served as Vormetric’s Vice President of Marketing. Her strategic business initiatives directly contributed to the company’s rapid revenue growth and its growing share of voice in the industry.
Tina is a proven B2B digital, marketing and strategy leader, with deep expertise in the enterprise information security and networking space. She brings a field-level comprehension of highly-technical products, and takes a data-driven approach towards her marketing role with specific focus on positioning and product differentiation.
Tina has successfully developed global go-to-market strategies for over 26 years, joining Thales in 2012 and previously holding leadership positions with Juniper Networks, Arbor Networks and Network Associates. She holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a master’s degree in mass communication from San Jose State University.
Sanjeet Purohit leads global human resources for Thales Cloud Protection and Licensing. Most recently Sanjeet worked as the Vice President for Human Resources at Gemalto’s Enterprise & Cybersecurity business. Prior to that he managed the worldwide human resources for the S&I vertical based in La Ciotat, France. He started his career with Gemalto fourteen years ago and held various positions all within the Human Resources field looking after various geographies including Singapore, India, South Africa and Dubai.
His experience in multicultural and multinational environments enables him to partner with business to interpret people implications on business strategy in order to shape and drive a long term strategy for organizational efficiency, performance and integration management. Sanjeet’s focus is on simple and transparent human resources practices to facilitate an employee centric and barrier free workplace culture which promotes innovation and technical excellence.
Prior to joining Gemalto, Sanjeet worked as human resources specialist across various disciplines and verticals in India, including the Entertainment, Healthcare and Services industries. He has a Master of Business Administration degree in Human Resources from Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management as well as a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Delhi.
As the head of legal affairs for Thales Cloud Protection and Licensing, Heather Johnston is responsible for all legal affairs including advising peers on the senior management team on various topics around compliance, operational matters, governmental inquiries and legal risk, commercial contracts as well as managing potential claims, litigation and regulatory issues facing the business.
Heather has most recently worked as General Counsel for Gemalto’s Enterprise & Cybersecurity business unit. Previously Heather supported the Mobile Services and Banking & Payments commercial businesses of Gemalto providing support to affiliate entities with diverse business offerings including human resources, regional procurement, factory, operations, marketing communications, litigation, mergers and acquisitions as well as risk management and insurance.
Previously Heather worked as an Associate at various legal firms in the United States, including O’Melveny & Myers LLP and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLC both in the Los Angeles area. During this time Heather represented clients in a variety of corporate, real estate and public development matters.
Heather holds a Juris Doctor’s degree from Pepperdine University as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Speech Communications from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
Gary Clark is a highly experienced global sales leader with a successful record of motivating high performance sales organizations, driving revenue growth and building long-term relationships with customers and partners. As the head of global sales, he is responsible for the overall sales, go-to-market and partner strategy for the company’s data protection and identity and access management solutions.
Over his 30-year career, he has held leadership positions in sales, marketing and business development in the cybersecurity and technology industries at companies including Gemalto, SafeNet, Rainbow Technologies and Unysis Corporation.
Previously, Gary served as Senior Vice President of Global Sales for Gemalto’s Enterprise & Cybersecurity business. Prior to that he was Vice President of EMEA Sales at SafeNet before its acquisition by Gemalto. Gary joined SafeNet in 2004, following the acquisition of Rainbow Technologies, where he was vice president, sales and marketing. Before that he held business development and sales roles at Unisys Corporation and AST Computers.
As the head of Engineering at Thales Cloud Protection and Licensing, Frederic Roma is responsible for delivering data protection solutions in the digital security targeting enterprises, software vendors and cloud providers. Prior to the acquisition of Gemalto by Thales, Frederic led the strategy for Gemalto’s Enterprise & Cybersecurity business directing engineering and professional services teams located in Canada, United States, France, Czech Republic, Israel, India and Singapore.
Frederic joined Gemalto through the acquisition of Netsize in 2012, where he managed the Netsize technical teams as Chief Technology Officer responsible for research and development and project delivery as well as the data center and service operations of software as a service (SaaS) solutions. He continued his career at Gemalto moving from France to Singapore to manage the Singapore Research and Development Center for Gemalto’s Plaforms & Services business for three years.
During his career Frederic gained value experience in cloud protection, mobile and software security as well as business to business platforms, identity and authentication, payment security as well as eBanking. Frederic holds an Engineering degree from the Institut des Sciences et Techniques des Yvelines or ISTY, a French public engineering school specializing in computer science and mechatronics, attached to the Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines University.
Francois Lasnier leads the Identity and Access Management products at Thales Cloud Protection & Licensing. He leads the strategy for the company’s industry-leading Identity and Access Management products focused on providing protection to a wide range of verticals for both the enterprise and government sectors.
Most recently, Francois led the Identity and Access Management strategy of Gemalto’s Enterprise & Cybersecurity business which incorporated the Identity & Access segment of Gemalto and the SafeNet Authentication business acquired in January 2015.
Francois’ history with Gemalto spans across many years and various disciplines and geographies, starting in product development, based in Paris and later moving into marketing, based in San Jose and business management, based in Austin.
Previously Francois worked as Vice President Banking, Retail, Access and PST for Axalto in North America as well as Marketing Director and later Vice President eTransaction Cards at Schlumberger where he managed some of the early smart card deployments in the United States.
Francois holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the French graduate school of engineering, Supélec.
Elie Amar is the head of Finance at Thales Cloud Protection and Licensing. He joined Thales through the acquisition of Gemalto where he served as head of finance for the company’s Enterprise & Cybersecurity business unit.
Prior to that he held various Finance roles at Gemalto for over a period of two decades. This included working as Corporate Operations Controller in France, Controller for Latin America based in Brazil. During this time he has been involved in various integration projects having joined Gemalto through the merger of Gemplus and Axalto in 2006.
Elie originally started his career in the consulting industry, having worked at both Coopers & Lybrand Financial Auditors and PricewaterhouseCoopers in France. He is a graduate from the French business school Kedge, formerly known as Euromed or Ecole Superieure de Commerce.
Diane Pewitt is the head of Global Operations for Thales Cloud Protection & Licensing. In this role, Diane is responsible for overseeing customer service, manufacturing, supply chain management, order fulfillment, professional services, trade compliance and global facilities.
Diane has more than 25 years of experience in vertical manufacturing, systems integration and full out- sourcing model for both corporations and service providers within the telecommunications and networking technology industries.
Prior to Thales, Diane served as Vice President of Operations at Gemalto’s Enterprise & Cybersecurity business unit and held the same position at SafeNet until its acquisition by Gemalto. She also held senior operational roles at Asurion, Ciena Corporation, Extreme Networks, VINA Networks, Lucent Technologies and Octel Communications.
Shlomo Weiss is the leads the Sentinel Software Monetization business within Thales Cloud Protection and Licensing. In this role, Shlomo is focused on driving growth of the software monetization business line where he oversees the strategy, sales, marketing, product development, and services organizations for the company’s industry-leading Sentinel software monetization solutions. Shlomo held the same role at Gemalto prior to its acquisition by Thales in 2019.
Prior to his current position, Shlomo was Vice President of Business Development for the Software Monetization division at SafeNet, responsible for global strategic partnerships and for driving new business initiatives. In this function, Shlomo played a key role in launching new business initiatives, managing ecosystem partnerships, and drove the global M&A opportunity pipeline.
Shlomo joined SafeNet via the acquisition of Aladdin Knowledge Systems in 2009, where he headed strategic business for Aladdin’s Software digital rights management unit. Prior to Aladdin, Shlomo held senior leadership positions in business development, marketing, and sales at Emblaze Mobile, Comverse’s Wydeband unit, and Multiple Zones.
Shlomo studied Economics and Business Administration at Bar-Ilan University.
As the Senior Vice President of Thales Cloud Protection & Licensing, Sébastien Cano leads a global business focused on helping organizations and the most respected brands in the world protect their most sensitive data, secure the cloud, and create more value for their software in the devices and services used by billions of consumers every day. He is responsible for the business and strategy for the company's industry-leading data encryption, identity and access management, and software monetization solutions.
Over the past twenty years Sébastien is a proven global leader of high growth businesses in the highly competitive security, telecommunications and financial services industries. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President of Gemalto’s Enterprise & Cybersecurity business unit. Prior to that he was President of Gemalto North America (2014-2016), responsible for all business operations across the region, and before that he managed the company's Telecommunications Business Unit in North America for five years. During these two previous assignments, he led the transformation of Gemalto into a leading provider of software, solutions and services to Fortune 500 Corporations.
Prior to these positions, he served Gemalto in a number of leadership roles including SVP Convergence Business Group in France, VP of Operations in Brazil during the country's EMV migration and General Manager of the Telecommunications Business Unit for southern Europe.
Sébastien has a master's degree in Technology Management from Grenoble École de Management.
Phil Naybour leads the integration office with responsibility for the combination of the Thales eSecurity and Gemalto Enterprise & Cybersecurity businesses into the world’s leading data protection provider, Thales Cloud Protection & Licensing.
Phil is an experienced leader with more than 30 years global experience in a variety of sectors in the technology industry. Previously he served as Chief Operating Officer for Thales eSecurity he oversaw ongoing business operations within the company. His responsibilities also included functional management of global supply chain, order fulfilment and delivery, quality, project management office, and the company’s IT and information systems.
Phil has previously led activities in UK, France, Asia and the US. Within Thales Group he has gained experience of many sectors of the technology industry covering a wide variety of business models. This includes leading Thales Helicopter Avionics business line in France, leading Thales workshare for the Queen Elizabeth class aircraft carrier project for UK MoD, and running Thales UK naval businesses as well as Managing Director of the Thales eSecurity business line. Prior to Thales Phil held leadership positions at Racal Asia, Unisys Hong Kong and IBM UK.
Phil is a Director of Thales UK Ltd. and is on the management board of the Thales SIX Global Business Unit. He holds a bachelor of science and bachelor of economics in engineering management from University of Manchester, UK.
Ashvin Kamaraju drives the technology strategy for Thales Cloud Protection & Licensing, leading a global organization of researchers and technologists that develop the strategic vision for the company’s portfolio of industry-leading data protection products and services.
Previously Ashvin served as Vice President Global Engineering at Thales eSecurity following its acquisition of Vormetric. He lead a geographically distributed engineering organization that developed a broad portfolio of leading edge data security products which met rigorous security standards and were designed for deployment in the enterprise, private and public clouds.
Ashvin is an experienced leader with a proven track record, having more than 25 years of software development experience with domain experience in storage management, operating systems, big data security, encryption and key management.
Prior to joining Vormetric, Ashvin spent four years as General Manager and Vice President of Engineering at Symantec Corporation, where he led the development of a portfolio of enterprise storage software products. Earlier in his career Ashvin worked at Sun Microsystems as a member of technical staff and engineering manager where he contributed to the Solaris operating system software for SPARCstations and led the development efforts for file and proxy cache servers. He has a MSCE and a master's in mathematics and computer science from the University of Cincinnati.
